Hardwood Limited Residential Warranty
This Limited Residential Warranty applies to original residential purchasers of Müller Graff engineered hardwood flooring, valid only when installed, maintained, and cared for according to Müller Graff installation and maintenance guidelines.

Covered Under Warranty
Structural Integrity
Delamination, separation, or failure due to manufacturing defect.
Finish Wear
Surface wear-through to raw wood under normal residential use (must cover >10% of total floor area).
Manufacturing Defects
Issues related to grading, milling, or coating visible before installation.
Radiant Heat (Approved Products)
Must follow acclimation and radiant-specific installation instructions.
What Is Not Covered
A. Moisture & Environmental Conditions
- Excessive moisture from concrete subfloors or vapor transmission when not properly mitigated with a vapor barrier
- Moisture intrusion from improperly sealed or uncovered crawlspaces or basements
- Plumbing leaks, appliance failures, uncorrected building envelope or structural issues
- Standing water, flooding, or hydrostatic pressure of any kind
- Indoor relative humidity not maintained between 35% and 65%, or temperatures outside 60°F–80°F
- Use in non-HVAC-controlled areas such as garages, sunrooms, or unconditioned basements
- Mold, mildew, or staining due to prolonged moisture exposure or entrapment
B. Installation & Usage
- Installation by unlicensed or non-certified installers, or any individual not qualified under NWFA or manufacturer standards
- Improper site preparation including subfloor moisture imbalance, inadequate flatness, or lack of expansion space
- Installation over non-approved substrates or structurally unstable surfaces
- Use of unapproved cleaning methods (e.g., wet mops, steam mops, ammonia-based products)
- Physical abuse such as scratches, gouges, dents, pet damage, sharp objects, furniture dragging, or impact
- Pet-related accidents (urine, vomit, feces), including associated staining or odor
- Noise issues such as creaking, popping, or squeaking unless attributed to product manufacturing defect
- Color, gloss, or surface texture variations between boards or compared to samples
- Flooring installed with known visual defects or damage at time of install
- Any damages from high heels, roller chairs, or point-load furniture exceeding recommended weight
- Reinstallation labor or costs unless pre-approved in writing following an accepted claim
- Normal aging effects such as color changes due to sunlight/UV exposure
- Flooring installed in commercial settings not designated for commercial warranty
Environmental Responsibility
It is the homeowner/installer's responsibility to:
- Maintain consistent temperature & humidity year-round (30–50% RH, 60–80°F)
- Use furniture pads; avoid dragging furniture or using vacuum beater bars
- Clean using approved hardwood cleaners only (no wet mops or steam)
Claim Requirements
All claims must:
- Be submitted within 30 days of identifying a potential issue
- Include original proof of purchase and jobsite condition documentation
- Demonstrate defect affects >5% of floor area (industry allowance)
- Allow Müller Graff or 3rd-party inspector access to site and product samples
Our Commitment
If a claim is approved, Müller Graff will, at its option:
- Repair, replace, or refund affected material proportionate to the area impacted
- Provide same or similar product if exact SKU is discontinued

This document is the exclusive warranty. No retailer, installer, or distributor may modify it.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary by state.
