Question 1

Is Turin engineered or solid hardwood?

Accepted Answer

Turin is an engineered hardwood floor featuring a genuine European Oak wear layer with Multi-ply core, European Oak top layer construction. Engineered construction delivers greater dimensional stability than solid hardwood, making it suitable for modern subfloors and radiant-heat systems.

Question 2

How is Turin installed?

Accepted Answer

Turin is installed using the Glue-down, Nail-down, Staple method. Always follow the Müller Graff engineered hardwood installation guidelines, including jobsite acclimation (60–80°F / 30–50% RH) and moisture testing before installation.

Question 3

What is the warranty on Turin?

Accepted Answer

Müller Graff engineered hardwood carries a lifetime structural integrity warranty for the original residential owner and a 25-year residential finish wear warranty, valid when the floor is installed and maintained per Müller Graff guidelines.

Question 4

How thick is Turin?

Accepted Answer

Turin has a total thickness of 14mm (9/16 inch) and a 2.2mm real-wood wear layer. This allows the floor to be professionally recoated or refinished over its service life.

Question 5

Is Turin suitable for radiant heat?

Accepted Answer

Most Müller Graff engineered hardwood products are approved for installation over radiant-heat systems when the surface temperature does not exceed 82°F (85°F for herringbone glue-down). A documented heat-up and cool-down protocol is required to maintain warranty coverage.
